CCI primers have always incorporated modern non-corrosive and non-mercuric initiator mixes. Their airtight seal makes them virtually impervious to moisture and other contaminants. They are permanently crimped in place, with a dented cup to provide excellent sensitivity and help prevent primer flow into the flash hole of the case during recoil.
